Get your info ready
Before you start, you'll need a few details from your current carrier:
- Account number
- Transfer PIN (also called a port-out PIN)
- Billing ZIP code
You'll enter this securely in the Vola app — it only takes a minute.
Where do I find my transfer PIN?
Your transfer PIN comes from your current carrier. You can usually find it:
- In your carrier's app or website under Account Settings, Security, or Number Transfer
- By calling customer support and asking for your port-out or number transfer PIN
- By text message (some carriers provide it instantly after verification)
If you are not sure where to find it, don't worry — we'll guide you through it in the app.
Submit your transfer
Once you enter your details, we submit the request to your current carrier and take it from there.
Most number transfers complete within a few hours to 1–2 business days, depending on the carrier.
Keep your current plan active
While the transfer is in progress, do not cancel your existing phone plan. Your service will automatically switch to Vola once the transfer completes.
